My Story

Every Season Reveals God's Faithfulness

I never imagined that one day God would lead me to write books that encourage others to discover His faithfulness in every season of life.

For many years, I simply lived through the ordinary seasons God allowed—times of waiting, seasons of joy, unexpected changes, quiet disappointments, and moments that slowly shaped my heart. Looking back, I now see that none of those seasons were wasted. God was faithfully writing a story that I could not yet understand.

Writing became one way of remembering His faithfulness.

I do not write because I have all the answers. I write because I have discovered that God's presence is often found in the ordinary, the quiet, and the unseen moments of life. My prayer is that every page reminds readers that even when life feels uncertain, God remains constant, present, and worthy of our trust.

A Journey of Grace

Over the years, God has gently taught me that spiritual growth rarely happens on the mountaintops alone. More often, it takes place in the hidden places through waiting, surrender, unexpected detours, and quiet acts of faithfulness that only He sees.

As I served Him, walked with family and friends, listened to people's stories, and reflected on my own journey, I began to recognize a common thread. Many of us wrestle with questions that are rarely spoken aloud.

Where is God while I wait?

Why does this season feel so quiet?

Can anything good come from loss or uncertainty?

Again and again, Scripture reminded me that God has never stopped working. Even in silence, He is present. Even in delay, He is faithful. Even when we cannot see His hand, we can trust His heart.

Those discoveries became the foundation of my writing.

Each book grew out of a desire to encourage readers to slow down, notice God's presence, and discover that every season—whether joyful or difficult—can become a place of deeper fellowship with Him.

The Becoming Collection

Each book in The Becoming Collection reflects a different season of the Christian journey.

Hidden Seasons invites readers to discover God's quiet work in seasons of waiting and holy formation.

Empty But Full reminds us that true fullness is found not in having more, but in knowing Christ more deeply.

When the Page Turns encourages readers to embrace life's transitions with confidence, trusting that the Author who has been faithful in every chapter will remain faithful in the next.

Together, these books share one message: every season has purpose because every season is held in the hands of a faithful God.

A Personal Invitation

Thank you for visiting my author home.

Whether you are walking through a hidden season, longing to experience God's fullness, or stepping into a new chapter, I pray these books will encourage you to see God's hand at work in your own story.

Thank you for allowing me to walk a small part of that journey with you.

May every page draw your heart closer to Christ, strengthen your faith, and remind you that no season of your life is ever outside His loving care.

Every season has a story. Every story reveals a faithful God.

Some stories begin with confidence.

Mine began with hesitation.

When I completed the manuscript for Hidden Seasons, I imagined the greatest challenge would be writing the book. Instead, I discovered that the greater challenge was sharing it.

I questioned whether anyone would want to read it. I wondered if my experiences were worth telling. I was uncomfortable speaking about something so personal and often found myself taking one step forward and two steps back.

Looking back now, I realize that my struggle was never about publishing a book.

It was about learning to trust God with my obedience.

The Whisper That Changed Everything

During one quiet time with the Lord, while wrestling with whether I should continue sharing the book, I sensed a gentle reminder in my heart.

"It's not your story. It's My story in you. Go and share it."

Those words changed my perspective.

The book was never meant to draw attention to me.

It was meant to testify to the God who faithfully shapes His children during the hidden seasons of life.

From that moment, my prayer changed.

Instead of asking, "Lord, will people like this book?"

I began asking,

"Lord, will You use this book to point someone to Christ?"

The First Step of Obedience

My first step was small.

I brought Hidden Seasons to my discipleship group.

I was nervous.

I was shy.

I wondered what they would think.

Yet the Lord gave me enough courage to take that first step.

One conversation became another.

One reader became another.

One opportunity opened the door for the next.

I slowly realized that obedience often begins with one faithful step rather than one giant leap.

God Was Forming More Than a Book

As the months passed, I began to see something I had missed.

God was not only preparing readers.

He was preparing me.

Each conversation stretched my faith.

Each opportunity taught me to rely less on my own confidence and more on His strength.

Writing had become another classroom where God continued His work of holy formation.

Remembering Moses

I often think about Moses.

When God called him, he felt inadequate. He questioned his ability to speak and asked God to send someone else.

In His kindness, God provided Aaron to help him.

Although my journey is different, I understand the feeling of inadequacy.

Sharing Hidden Seasons has never come naturally to me.

But the Lord has been patiently teaching me that sharing His faithfulness is not the same as promoting myself.

If the story points people to Him, then it is worth telling.

What I Am Learning

Today I still have much to learn.

I am learning how to write.

I am learning how to steward the opportunities God gives.

I am learning how to share without seeking recognition.

Most importantly, I am learning that every story belongs to Him before it ever belongs to me.

Scripture

"Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord."

How Hidden Seasons Was Born

It was Never My Story

"It's not your story. It's My story in you"

July 2026

Lord,

Thank You for reminding me that this has never been my story.

It has always been Yours.

Continue writing Your story in my life, and let every book, every conversation, and every page point readers beyond me and toward Christ.

Teach me to remain faithful whether the audience is one person or many, trusting that You alone bring the growth.

May my greatest desire never be to become a successful author, but to become a faithful steward of what You have entrusted to me.

In Jesus' name,

Amen.
